The Land of the Rising Sun has always been very close to my heart — our father used to work there for years — and Mickey Mouse has always been my (and my sister’s) playmate. We grew up writing on stationeries stamped with Hiragana and Katakana scriptures, with kawaii pencil cases and hard bound paper dolls that are actually on books. Papa does his recordings of Japanese songs all the time (I swear he knows Nihonggo as much as he knows the Filipino language) and I find that really brilliant.

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to slash off another on my list. The Lord has really been so good to me, and for that I am very grateful.

Arrived at Narita Airport on June 29. Dropped our stuff at the hotel and then went to our first destination on the itinerary — the Aeon Mall.

Aeon Mall is located at Narita, Chiba Prefecture. It is basically a mall which houses different clothing brands and restaurants.

So of course, the first to try would definitely be the authentic Japanese ramen!

Always yummy!

That pretty much sums up Day 1. Wait up for Day 2 because I swear to the heavens it had been awesome and it’s gonna be a more interesting virtual tour for everyone!
