As you all know, I’ve been greatly affected by the typhoon Glenda — I live in Cavite (which was under the state of calamity during the time) and our village had a seven day electricity interruption — so yehey, thank you for understanding. At least I did not use my day job as an excuse this time! Hoho.
Two weeks ago, I had one of the busiest Saturdays ever – had a quick meet-up with my high school friend Kay at NAIA for some serious monkey business, went to work (which is in Makati) for a couple of minutes to get some files, attended an event in Ortigas and finally, dinner date at High Street. It was so tiring but the superwoman in me couldn’t give anything up. I could’ve skipped the event but I’m glad I didn’t! It’s been a while since the last time I got to interact with other bloggers — a fun experience as always — and the time was totally worth the effort!
I was greeted by really friendly and accommodating people, the vibe was all good and I felt right then that I would have an awesome time.
It was such a cool place, I was awed when I was told that it was actually an office! There are no cubicles, just free spaces!
The Because team opened their doors for us to see what they have to offer especially to us, girls! The reveal made me giddy and excited, as international brands Saforelle and The Cream Factory are now in the Philippines!
But what are they and where do they come from?
Under their intimate care line is Saforelle which originates from France. Made with Burdock extracts, it is soap-free, paraben-free (I’ve previously learned that it is a cancer-causing chemical so be sure that what you use do not contain any kind of paraben) and specifically formulated for everyday use. I’ve tried it and not only it’s moisturizing, it smells so good too! I’ve also noticed that these past few days, my level of obsessive-compulsiveness in the you know has reduced for some reason. I mean, the burdocks are so awesome at their job that maintenance is sort of low now – it’s just wiping then hand washing!
The Cream Factory
The Cream Factory, on the other hand, originates from the US. It is a bath cream made from fresh goat’s milk, but the goats are not just any other goat, they live in Netherlands! The cream smells really nice I swear, you almost want to taste it!! They come in 12 different scents, and 9 of them are already in the Philippine market. The rest are on its way too! They also have scrubs that are great to pair with the cream!
Being aware of these two brands changed the way I think and feel about taking a bath, or going to the bathroom in general! I know it’s a functional task that I have to do everyday but knowing the existence of these two, I can say that it’s something that can be enjoyed too!
Here are more photos from the event:
The very kind Jen who wholeheartedly took some of my photos when I ran out of battery! Hey girl, thank you so much! ♡
With the sweetest marketing person I’ve ever met, Pie! (She doesn’t want to be called Miss so yeah, Pie!)
It was absolutely the best launches I’ve attended in years, it’s that awesome and my faith in PR events was restored! Haha! Seriously guys, you know what I mean. The people of Because are so passionate at what they do, genuine and totally living up to what their mission-vision has to say: that they are REAL. I can say so because they care for their consumers’ choices, the value, benefits and results that we are getting from their products. They make sure that these products matter to us, and that they’re something that celebrate our lifestyle. Even if I had to travel from the far south, it was all okay, because I felt in my heart that I matter to them. Good job, you guys!
Also, this cutesy vintage bus will be going around so more can experience this awesomeness! See, they do what they do with all of their hearts, they’re actually the ones reaching out! I really do hope one of you could experience this! I guess if I was able to demonstrate my feelings towards Saforelle and The Cream Factory well and you will want to try them out and see for yourselves, they’re available at Mercury Drug, Watson’s, Rustan’s and soon to be in South Star Drug.

I will be posting a separate post regarding my thoughts about the products, and I can’t wait to share it with you! If you’ve already tried them, feel free to share your what you think as well!
